Jack of all trades . . . master of none . . . .
ONLY BY PERCEPTION!
You can be a master of all if you manage expectations and perceptions that you give to others.
You don't have to be everything to everyone - just what each individual needs you for.
How I came up with this:
At the market, I noticed a man who only sells honey. Honey. His life revolves around honey. Or maybe not - but this is what he was presenting to me at the marketing. Even if he has many other jobs on the side - honey is what I was focusing on and to me - he must be a honey expert. Why would you put all your time into something and not be good at it - RIGHT?
His BRAND to me is HONEY GUY. What is your brand. What are you know for to your family? friends? industry? They can all be different but you HAVE to show your unique brand given the audience you want to focus on. Keep the other stuff out of it - even if your ego wants to show ALL you do - you will be more profitable and respected in the end.
