Reaching your goals through a VISION BOARD
"According to the popular book The Secret, 'The law of attraction is forming your entire life experience and it is doing that through your thoughts. When you are visualizing, you are emitting a powerful frequency out into the Universe.'" - The Huffington Post
How to create your vision board. It is VERY simple. All you need is your browser, power point (preferred) and some thoughts/desires/dreams for this coming year.

TCI TIP: You can set your power point to be vertical instead of horizontal so that makes things a little bit simpler to read and organize.
NOTE: The best thing about doing these electronically is that you can change them at anytime.
1) Think of the themes you want to cover. Items could include:
- Health
- Fitness
- Family
- Spirituality
- Self
- Household
- Friends
- Acceptance
There are so many more but I wanted to get you started.
2) I use Google so I just started searching for the words that I wanted to put on my board.
3) Select the images and drag them to your desktop (it helps to make a folder first called 2015 Vision Board) so your screen doesn't get too filled up.
4) Pick the power point template you want to use and start dragging the images onto the page. I like all the sizes to be the same size so I click on the images and change the size so they all match.
5) I don't believe that the order that you put them in matters but you can decide for yourself.
6) Once you are finished, save the power point and then also save as a pdf (in the printer section) and also as a screnn shot (jpg, png).
7) Print the document to put on your fridge or somewhere when you get up you can see it and also the jpeg on your desktop image so you can see it every day when you open up your computer!
Last year - most of my visions came true! Its no secret that if you focus yourself on a goal and you move towards it every day, you will be more likely to reach it!
HERE MY MISSION BOARD for 2015! I put this image on my desktop computer screen so I can see it every day. Vision boards are very powerful.

“The effect of imposed organizational culture change on the productivity, employee engagement, quality of life, and leadership of both work groups and work group leaders within a learning organization”
Abstract
This mixed methods case study examined the effects of imposed change of a selected organizational culture on its leaders and work groups from 1999 to 2014 as it reacted to external societal and internal operational forces. Data were collected from survey (existing C.A.R.E. survey instrument), organizational artifacts, and from a series of focus groups of employees of various lengths of service and also semi-structured, one-on-one interviews conducted with a purposeful sample of leadership within Development Divisions International (DDI). The findings produced 10 individual themes that revealed impacts of imposed organizational culture change on a learning organization. The themes include: 1) cultural changes does not have impact on revenue; 2) increased engagement leads to increased associate perceived value to the organization; 3) increased engagement leads to an increased associate sense of autonomy within their positions; 4) increased associate quality of life leads to increased personal flexibility within the workplace; 5) associate loyalty to their position leads to a decreased experienced quality of life; 6) increased ability for associates to "walk-the-walk” increases positive associations with leadership; 7) increased levels of an associate’s autonomy creates a positive associations with leadership; 8) internally created leadership has negative associations with cultural impact; 9) organizational culture change creates growth within the organization and 10) existing organizational cultures can impedes cultural change impact. Findings from this study could be implemented as an effective tool to determine the appropriateness of organizational cultural change to the meet the needs of 21st century businesses.

To do lists
WISE GUY TIP OF THE DAY: Limit TODAY's to-do list to 10 items that you know that you can complete.
Make sure you begin with the tasks in order of how you will complete them during the day. For example, if you have a task that is after lunch, don't put it first. Don't make it harder for you to complete your tasks by making it more confusing!
Here are some additional helpful hints:
1) If it is too big a task, break it down and make each part one of your 10 items
2) Only add things after you finish the complete 10
3) Additional items (if not emergencies) can be added to TOMORROWS list
4) Emergencies STOP everything, get done, and then the list continues
5) Celebrate when you finish the list - if there is still time left in the day, start a new list
These tips will help you:
1) Not become overwhelmed
2) Set realistic goals for yourself
3) Give you a sense of accomplishment every day
HAVE A GREAT DAY!

last night posts
Couldn't sleep because my mind is racing . . . here is what I came up with:
You may not always be surrounded by people that are there to take you higher - but YOU may be the catalyst that is there to get them to the next place they need to be! There is nothing wrong with giving everything you have - its why we are here right? : ) - Andrew Pueschel
