Glass half full!

Wise Guy Thought for the day:

Look how much I have had to drink . . .and look how much I have left to drink!

Wise Guy Question for the day:

Think of your own glass - how do you view it?  What is it filled with and how  how colorful is the glass?

Wise Guy Action for the day:

Draw a picture of "your glass" in your head. If you don't like how it looks - CHANGE IT!

ps.

A little wine never hurt the glass!

Sometimes you just have to LET IT GO!

BEYONCE'S WRITING ABOUT MICHAEL JACKSON

This past Monday marked the three year anniversary of the passing ofMichael Jackson, and while a number of stars and fans shared their memories of MJ, one celeb in particular got more intimate!
When I was just starting out, my first producer used to make me listen to Michael Jackson’s live performance of “Who’s Loving You.” He would have me watch that for hours back to back to back.
What he wanted me to learn was his soul. You could hear his soul. And he was this little kid who hadn’t experienced love but he was a vessel. For whatever reason he could evoke more emotion than an adult. It was so raw and so pure. It was these little things that he did that were just swag. It’s something that’s God given.
Michael taught me that sometimes you have to forget technique, forget what you have on. If you feel silly, you have to go from the gut just let it go.
Michael Jackson changed me, and helped me to become the artist I am - thank you Michael.
Love always,
B

Wise Guy Thought for the day:
Life is not about surviving, its about thriving and making each moment as special as you can!

Wise Guy Question for the day:

When was the last time you took your talent and did whatever it was "from the gut"?

Wise Guy Action for the day:

Next time you are doing your hobby or something you love - STOP.  Take a DEEP BREATH and REMEMBER WHY YOU LOVE DOING IT .  . . then REACH DEEP DOWN IN YOUR SOUL . . . and do whatever it is LIKE YOU HAVE NEVER DONE IT BEFORE!!

ps.  Then message me and tell me how it was!

LET ME POST IT ONE MORE TIME:
Michael taught me that sometimes you have to forget technique, forget what you have on. If you feel silly, you have to go from the gut just let it go. - Beyonce

One bit at a time

ARE YOU DOING EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO DO TO BE HAPPY?

If you don't think you can do something - ask yourself WHY?

If the answer will hurt you (or others) then OK DON"T DO IT!

If the answer is a anything else - TRY IT!

If you don't want to do something - ask yourself WHY NOT?

If the answer will hurt you (or others) then OK DON"T DO IT!

If the answer involves laziness - DO IT!

If you can't do something - ask yourself WHEN CAN I?

If the answer will hurt you (or others) then THE ANSWER IS NEVER!

If the answer involves time then START THE PROCESS NOW!

Wise Guy Thought for the day:
You can't tackle everything all at once.  If something looks to big of a task, break it down.  Don't worry about the entire thing until its done - look back at what you have accomplished!

Wise Guy Question for the day:
See the questions above.

Wise Guy Action for the day:
Start a project by LISTING what all is going to need to be done to accomplish it.  Once you have that, go in order of the timeline (not biggest or smallest) and just take it piece by piece!

ENJOY YOUR FRIDAY!

You aren't the BOSS of me!

I am sorry but I don't know the source of this but it really hits home.  Just the word BOSS seems negative.  Think about it!

Wise Guy Thought for the day:
There are MANY different ways in which you can interact with others to create a successful work environment.

Wise Guy Question for the day:
Are you a Boss or a Leader?

Wise Guy Action for the day:
Try to do each of the Leader action items in one day - you will be AMAZED at how things turn around!

Back to School!

Today I started my first day of my Doctoral Degree at Robert Morris University.  It is going to be one of the most rewarding and challenging things I have ever done.  I feel that I can pull things from every course that will help me to develop all areas of my life.  This was a good decision!

Wise Guy Thought for the day:
You never stop learning.  When you stop learning you stop growing intellectually, spiritually, and emotionally.

Wise Guy Question for the day:
What are you doing in your own life to grow?

Wise Guy Action for the day:
Go out and learn something new?  Don't have a lot of time, google something that you hear in a conversation or on tv.  Learn something NEW!
