Take care of YOU FIRST!
Wise Guy Thought for the day:
It is REALLY easy to offer help to others when you have a lot to do on your own plate.
Wise Guy Question for the day:
Remember (and it's hard to do) taking another's broccoli off their plate as a favor is fine but you better REALLY like it because there is a MOUNTAIN of it on your own plate! What have you taken on recently that you didn't really need to?
Wise Guy Action(s) for the day:
Take care of you - then you can take care of others with full dedication!

The portrait of your life!
Wise Guy Thought for the day:
Today is a blank canvas! You can do whatever you want to do!
Wise Guy Question for the day:
What type of experience will you create today? Do you have the tools to do what you need? At the end of the day - is what you do something you will want to put on your wall for everyone to see?
Wise Guy Action(s) for the day:
Watch the video above - I think we all remember Bob. At the time he seemed very silly but now that he is gone, I think he really knew how to look at life. We can all learn from him!
GET OUT THERE AND CREATE!

Glass half full!
Wise Guy Thought for the day:
Look how much I have had to drink . . .and look how much I have left to drink!
Wise Guy Question for the day:
Think of your own glass - how do you view it? What is it filled with and how how colorful is the glass?
Wise Guy Action for the day:
Draw a picture of "your glass" in your head. If you don't like how it looks - CHANGE IT!
ps.
A little wine never hurt the glass!

Sometimes you just have to LET IT GO!
BEYONCE'S WRITING ABOUT MICHAEL JACKSON
This past Monday marked the three year anniversary of the passing ofMichael Jackson, and while a number of stars and fans shared their memories of MJ, one celeb in particular got more intimate!
When I was just starting out, my first producer used to make me listen to Michael Jackson’s live performance of “Who’s Loving You.” He would have me watch that for hours back to back to back.
What he wanted me to learn was his soul. You could hear his soul. And he was this little kid who hadn’t experienced love but he was a vessel. For whatever reason he could evoke more emotion than an adult. It was so raw and so pure. It was these little things that he did that were just swag. It’s something that’s God given.
Michael taught me that sometimes you have to forget technique, forget what you have on. If you feel silly, you have to go from the gut just let it go.
Michael Jackson changed me, and helped me to become the artist I am - thank you Michael.
Love always,
B

Wise Guy Thought for the day:
Life is not about surviving, its about thriving and making each moment as special as you can!
Wise Guy Question for the day:
When was the last time you took your talent and did whatever it was "from the gut"?
Wise Guy Action for the day:
Next time you are doing your hobby or something you love - STOP. Take a DEEP BREATH and REMEMBER WHY YOU LOVE DOING IT . . . then REACH DEEP DOWN IN YOUR SOUL . . . and do whatever it is LIKE YOU HAVE NEVER DONE IT BEFORE!!
ps. Then message me and tell me how it was!
LET ME POST IT ONE MORE TIME:
Michael taught me that sometimes you have to forget technique, forget what you have on. If you feel silly, you have to go from the gut just let it go. - Beyonce

Vision Board Follow Up
Good morning!
I had so many wonderful emails about the vision board - I hope everyone decides to create their own. There is however one bit of clarification before we move forward . . .
The Wise Guy Thought for the day:
There has to be a certain level of responsibility that YOU have for your success and even your failures.
You can ask God (or the universe)
for 1 million dollars but it's not going to show up at the door.
You WILL however be given the opportunities to make the million,
but YOU will have to work for it.
in other words:
You can believe in the secret all you want and visualize, use your vision board, you can mediate, and you can think and dream about doing great things but if you don't actually put the effort out there nothing will come of your wishes.
in the most simple of talk:
You can't win the lottery if you don't play!
The Wise Guy Action for the Day:
Pick one thing on your vision board or your "life wish list" and do something towards making it happen. Just one step. Then tomorrow do something else to further yourself to your goal.
Work toward your goals - even if the result is not what you dreamed, the process of getting there might take you in places you never thought possible!
Tomorrow (as I promised today):
Making the Universe revolve around YOU!
ps. Please send me your thoughts . . . etc. I"m trying to learn more about blogging and see how you can subscribe.

My First POST!
Hello,
Today is my first post to THE WISE GUY.
This blog is going to be about simple thoughts of logic and reason that will hopefully draw towards some area of your life that you can apply to - all to make you realize how much you really do know and how far you really can go!
Today's thought:
Be a good listener.
You might still have the best solution to the problem at hand, but if you listen really well, you will help yourself in solving the details to the problem which might save you time in the long run.
See you tomorrow.
